Accompanied by interesting people from around the world and your personal skipper, stop for a quick swim and, if you are lucky, spot dolphins and whales.
From April to October, the sensational sunset tour starts at 19:00 (7:00 pm). During the rest of the year, the tour starts earlier because the sun sets earlier. Please contact us if you would like to know the schedule for a specific date.

What to expect
Port Olímpic
The marina located opposite the Vila Olímpica district was built in 1990 as part of the redevelopment of this Barcelona neighborhood. The marina was designed by architects Oriol Bohigas, Josep Martorell, David Mackay, and Albert Puigdomènech. The city needed a high-standard sports harbor, and the sailing competitions were held here during the 1992 Olympic Games. The marina has 756 berths for yachts, and its entrance is visible from all over Barcelona.
The two skyscrapers on either side are the Mapfre Tower and Hotel Arts, at the foot of which stands Frank Gehry’s spectacular goldfish sculpture, with the Gran Casino de Barcelona nearby. Water sports enthusiasts can sail or practice other sailing techniques here, while in summer the beaches on both sides of the marina—Somorrostro and Nova Icària—are the perfect places to sunbathe or enjoy a refreshing swim in the sea.
Gold Fish Sculpture (Escultura el Peix d'Or)
The fish sculpture by architect Frank Gehry, winner of the 1989 Pritzker Prize, has become one of the symbols of post-Olympic Barcelona and looks as though it is floating on the waters of the Mediterranean. Sunlight reflects off the scales of this sculpture, which dominates the promenade of the Olympic Marina and Barcelona’s beaches.
In 1992, the seafront promenade of pristine Olympic Barcelona was redeveloped. A new Olympic marina took shape, dominated by its twin towers. On one side stood the Mapfre Tower, and on the other, Hotel Arts. Frank Gehry placed his fish sculpture at the foot of the hotel. The animal is 56 meters long and 35 meters high and seems to yearn to leap into the blue waters of the Mediterranean.
Port Vell (Old Port)
Port Vell, literally “Old Port” in English, is a waterfront harbor in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, and part of the Port of Barcelona. It was built as part of an urban renewal program before the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. Previously, it was a run-down area with empty warehouses, railway stations, and factories. Sixteen million people visit the complex every year.
Today, it is a central part of the city and a tourist attraction, housing Maremàgnum (a shopping center with stores, a multiplex cinema, bars, and restaurants), IMAX Port Vell, and Europe’s largest aquarium, with 8,000 fish and 11 sharks in 22 tanks filled with six million liters (1.6 million U.S. gallons) of seawater. A pedestrian walkway, Rambla de Mar, connects La Rambla with Port Vell. It has a drawbridge so ships can enter and leave the harbor.
Meeting and pickup
When entering Port Olímpic from Calle Marina, you will see a staircase with plants at the corner between the two tall buildings. Go down the stairs, keeping the concrete wall/concrete shops on your right and the yachts on your left. The meeting point is at sea level, at number 10. The easiest way to get there is to use Google Maps.
Hello! You have a shared sailing trip with us today. Our address is Moll de la Marina 10 in Puerto Olimpico. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes in advance. The boat departs on time. If you miss the boat, there is no refund or possibility to reschedule. The best way is by metro (L4, Vila olímpica). It is rush hour, and taxis always take longer. Also, Uber may not work as smoothly here as it does at home. See you soon!
