MEETING POINT: PALACE OF CULTURE AND SCIENCE, BY THE TOURIST INFORMATION OFFICE. BUS STOP “DWORZEC CENTRALNY 12”.
Enjoy a 2.5-hour guided bus tour through Warsaw’s “dark side”—the Praga district—in a Jelcz “Cucumber” bus from the 1980s. The tour includes live commentary from your guide and a walk through several locations, including the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a chocolate lounge, and Brzeska and Stalowa Streets. Pass by the former “Koneser” vodka factory and a former black market, “Różycki’s Bazaar.” See the most interesting religious buildings, authentic prewar architecture, and numerous murals. The tour includes a complimentary hot chocolate.
