Description
Cycle through the neighborhoods of high society as well as through areas where drugs and prostitution can be found, but also the autonomous scene or artist quarters. We cycle towards Sternschanze, cross the historic quarter, a symbol of grassroots living, Schröderstift, Sternschanzenpark, and then ride through the actual Schanzen quarter with its diverse alternative cultural offerings. We then ride across Hafenstraße in St. Pauli through the Portuguese Quarter to the Neustadt.
We reach the Kontorhäuser from the 1920s, such as the Chilehaus. Afterwards, cycle on to St. Georg: There are no greater contrasts of multicultural life in any other district. The route continues to the Binnenalster, Kennedybrücke, Stadtpanorama, Lombardsbrücke with its rowing clubs and consulates, and finally back to the bike station.
