Join us for our Street Art Tour and Street Art Workshop, where we'll take you on a journey through Hamburg's most creative neighborhoods. You'll discover amazing street art and graffiti works by local and international artists.
After a short break, we'll kick off the workshop – in one of Hamburg's most creative urban spaces, where you can try it out for yourself!
This exciting workshop offers your group the opportunity to unleash their creativity while strengthening bonds through collaboration. Through a series of hands-on exercises and demonstrations, you'll gain fundamental street art skills, including stencil creation, spray can techniques, color mixing, and unique tagging methods. By the end of the workshop, you'll have your very own street art masterpiece.
Your group will learn artistic skills and also build confidence, improve communication, and strengthen their bond as a cohesive unit.
This activity is both a wonderful visual and practical experience.

What to expect
Meet your guide in the early afternoon near Sternschanze to begin the first leg of the tour, a one-hour walk through the Sternschanze district, closer to Sankt Pauli, then through the Katoviertel, and on into the city center. Along the way, you'll see all kinds of street art and graffiti. The guide will also explain the historical backgrounds of the areas, while you get an insight into subcultures and learn more about gentrification and other political movements. The guides have experience in leading and running workshops and are native English or German speakers to offer you the best possible experience.
After drawing inspiration from the streets, you'll start your two-hour workshop in an old factory building in the Gängeviertel, a former squat in the city center. Experienced street artists will show you the different techniques of graffiti and street art. Using rulers, markers, and spray paint, you'll create your first piece of street art, which you can take home with you (or leave somewhere on the street).
The workshop and the end of the tour are located near the Gänsemarkt subway station, right in the city center.

Meeting and pickup
Location Name: Sternschanze Station Address: Sternschanze, 20357 Hamburg, Germany Getting there : You will meet at the small square directly opposite the S-Bahn exit of Sternschanze. There are two exits for this station, so please make sure you exit via the S-Bahn exit (and not the subway). After leaving the station (there will be a juice stand to your left), cross the street directly in front of you to the paved area with street benches and a small rotunda/kiosk. S-Bahn lines : S31, S21 Subway lines : 2 Return location: Ends near the Gänsemarkt subway station in the city center.
