Description
This is the best tour for individual visitors and small groups (1–3 people) who have one day available and would like to visit Krakow. Our tour begins in Warsaw. In the morning, take a first-class train to Krakow. After approximately 2.5 hours of travel, meet our guide at Krakow Glowny railway station. The walking tour of Krakow lasts 3 hours.
First, you will go to the Main Square, where Sukiennice (Cloth Hall), the Barbican fortifications and St. Mary's Church are located. You will then walk along the historic Grodzka Street, one of the oldest in Krakow. It was part of the Royal Route. At the end of the street, you will see Wawel Hill with its royal castle. You will visit Wawel Cathedral. Afterwards, you will also see Collegium Maius, the oldest Gothic building of Jagiellonian University, dating from the 15th century.
After the walking tour, you will have time for lunch and souvenirs. In the late afternoon, take the train back to Warsaw.

Rynek Glowny is a central square in Krakow where you have the opportunity to hear the trumpet call every hour on the hour.
It is one of the most famous churches in Poland. St. Mary's Basilica houses the world's largest Gothic wooden altarpiece (closed until autumn).
Barbican, Museum of Krakow

Cloth Hall (Sukiennice)
In the 13th century, Sukiennice was a place where people could buy and sell clothing and other fabrics. It was rebuilt in the 19th century. Today, it houses an art museum in Krakow and numerous stalls where you can buy souvenirs.
Wawel Cathedral
As you walk along Grodzka Street, you will see Wawel Hill. Then, travel to Wawel Royal Castle to visit the cathedral.

The oldest university building in Poland.
