Krakowskie Przedmiescie
The 2.5-mile-long “Royal Route,” lined with important buildings and monuments reflecting bygone eras. On the way to the Presidential Palace—this beautiful Neoclassical building is the residence of the Polish president and is guarded by four lions, more than 200 years old, created by Camilio Laudini. Eight-year-old Frédéric Chopin performed publicly for the first time in this building.

Marshal Piłsudski Square—a parade ground with the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The square is very important to Warsaw’s residents, serving as a venue for many gatherings, concerts, and events. Behind the monument lies the beautiful Saxon Garden.
