Sagrada Família
Begin directly at the basilica, where your guide will show you the sections still under construction before skipping the line and entering.
As you walk beneath columns that branch upward like trees, your guide will explain how Gaudí developed his style from religious, natural, and Catalan influences. In the morning, stained-glass windows cast warm red and orange light through the Passion façade, while in the afternoon they create cooler blue and green tones through the Nativity façade.
Take the elevator up one of the basilica’s towers for a close-up view of the mosaic-covered pinnacles before the view opens onto the rooftops of Barcelona below. Descend the tower’s spiral staircase, a narrow route built directly into the structure.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of your tour. Your guide will be holding a yellow WalksDevour sign. This tour meets at Avinguda de Gaudí, 2, 08025 Barcelona, Spain. Meet in front of a large, ornate lamppost in the middle of the small pedestrian alley between KFC and Burger King.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of your tour for check-in. Out of courtesy to other guests, we cannot wait for latecomers. No refunds can be provided for late arrivals or no-shows. All guests must pass through the security check at the Sagrada Familia. All guests, including children, must bring identification on the day of their tour. This is especially important when booking discounted tickets, such as children’s tickets for ages 2–10, as the Sagrada Familia often requires ID as proof of age. - Due to the religious nature of the Sagrada Familia, everyone, regardless of gender, must cover their shoulders and knees. You may bring additional coverings (scarves, etc.) to put on shortly before entering. Walks cannot be held responsible for anyone who is denied entry. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Tips/gratuities for your guide are always welcome.
