25 m

Learn more about the air raids, codenamed Operation Gomorrha, which devastated a large part of the city and the harbor, and see highlights such as the Landungsbrücken, Pegeltrum, and the Elbtunnel.

The tour concludes at the St Pauli Fish Market, where the submarine U-434 is docked and now serves as a submarine museum. We offer tickets for a one-hour tour through this monumental Soviet-built warship, during which you will learn more about its role in espionage in the waters off the US coast during the Cold War. Enter the confined space to explore the crew's living quarters, the officers' quarters, and the engine and torpedo rooms. Although the submarine had to be 'demilitarized' by the Russian Navy before it could be transformed into the unique museum it is today, much of the interior remains in its original condition. You will never forget this claustrophobic experience!
