Old Town Hall
It is one of the largest and most magnificent of its kind in Europe. It was created at the end of the 14th century, during the period of the medieval Old Town’s greatest development, based on the privilege granted by the Grand Master of the Teutonic Knights, Konrad von Wallenrode.

Medieval Defensive City Walls
All three urban units of Toruń—i.e., the Old Town, the New Town (which, despite their union in 1454, remained separate units, with their wall running along Podmurna Street), and the Teutonic Castle—had their own defense system. The 4-kilometer-long wall included 54 fortified towers, 11 gates and 2 typical barbicans. Nine towers and three gates have survived to this day.

Sanctuary of Our Lady Star of the New Evangelization and St. John Paul
A brick cathedral, a Gothic hall church and the second-largest in Poland; the seven-ton Tuba Dei bell; numerous mementos of Nicolaus Copernicus, as well as the site of his baptism. It also contains the heart of King Jan Olbracht. The cathedral is distinguished by the earliest northern gallery over a porch on Polish soil. Dating from 1500, the cathedral’s tower houses Tuba Dei—known as God’s Trumpet—the largest Polish medieval bell until the casting of the famous Wawel Sigismund Bell.

Krzywa Wieża
The Leaning Tower is the most interesting and famous tower in Torun. It leans toward the north and dates from the early 14th century. The deviation from the vertical is 146 cm at a height of 15 m (from street level).

Muzeum Toruńskiego Piernika
Toruń's Gingerbread Museum is located exactly 130 years after the construction of Gustaw Weese's factory on Strumykowa Street in Toruń in 1885. Weese's products were known throughout the world at that time and exported to distant countries such as Japan and Australia. The confectionery factory "Kopernik" is the direct successor to this tradition. Many of its post-war employees began their careers at Weese's factory. Thanks to their dedication and hard work, we can now enjoy the taste of Toruńskie Pierniki.
