Description
See the highlights of Warsaw during a 4-hour tour—with me, by car and on foot.
Warsaw is a green and clean city, so you will be taken to Lazienki Park (18th century), where you can go for walks and admire palaces and pavilions hidden among lush greenery. Drive along the Royal Route, which was almost completely rebuilt in its former historic design after World War II. Walk through Warsaw’s Old Town, which was also rebuilt in its former style and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as the only site that is not original but reconstructed. See the house where Madame Curie was born and where Chopin lived. We will also visit the former ghetto.
With me, you will see the great contrasts of pre-war Warsaw: districts built in the socialist-realist style and a recently developed modern city center sometimes called Warsaw Manhattan. And what about Warsaw Praga? That is what we call a part of Warsaw on the right bank of the Vistula, where Polanski’s famous film "The Pianist" was filmed.

Warsaw Barbican (Barbakan Warszawski)
It is a 16th-century defensive gate with a drawbridge leading into the medieval city. Today, it is a place where artists offer watercolors and create small, stylish figurines while waiting for customers.

Łazienki Park (Baths Park)
Depending on how much time you have, you can walk through the largest park, which was once located in the city’s suburbs and is now in the center, stopping near the Chopin Monument, where piano recitals are held on Sundays in summer; the last king’s so-called Palace on the Isle; and the amphitheater, which is still occasionally used. You then drive along the Royal Route to the Old Town.

Warsaw Ghetto
You see the place where almost half a million Jews were forced to live in a confined district surrounded by walls. It is now marked by the Rappaport Monument, dedicated to the heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto. The memorial stones bear the names of people who helped Jews survive or died in the struggle, such as Anielewicz, leader of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
