Discover Poland’s food culture as locals actually experience it. On this 3-hour small-group culinary tour, your local guide will lead you through the heart of Warsaw’s Old Town, starting at Castle Square.
At four hand-picked local spots, you’ll work your way through 10–14 tastings: a selection of freshly made pierogi, a proper Polish soup such as żurek served in a sourdough bread bowl, modern Polish street food, and a sweet finale at a local dessert kitchen. Along the way, raise a glass of local craft beer and enjoy a tasting of Polish vodka. Each stop comes with the stories and recipes behind the food.

Our first tasting—and we’re going straight to the icon. A flight of freshly made pierogi: Ruskie (potatoes & cheese), meat, Kapusta z grzybami (sauerkraut & wild mushrooms), and one seasonal sweet. We walk down the Royal Way to our second stop: żurek—sour rye soup served in a hollow sourdough bread bowl. Or whichever soup the kitchen is serving that week (Polish cuisine is seasonal, and we embrace it). This is the dish that explains a thousand years of cold Polish winters in a single spoonful.
