What to expect
Castle Square (Plac Zamkowy)
Your Polish food journey begins here, beside the imposing Sigismund’s Column at the gateway to Warsaw’s UNESCO-protected Old Town. Your guide gathers the group here, introduces the city and Poland’s hearty food culture, and points out the pink Royal Castle before you set off for your first tasting.
Royal Castle in Warsaw - Museum
From Castle Square, your guide shows you the Royal Castle, the former residence of Poland’s kings, and tells the remarkable story of how it was rebuilt stone by stone after its destruction during World War II. We admire it from the square and continue on.
Old Town
We stroll through the colorful heart of the Old Town—a square lined with merchants’ houses carefully rebuilt after the war—where your guide pauses for photos beside the bronze Warsaw Mermaid (Syrenka), the city’s sword-wielding symbol.
Meeting and pickup
Sigismund’s Column in the market square (Plac Zamkowy), at the entrance to Warsaw’s Old Town. Your guide will wait there before the start time. We will also contact you in advance with all the details so you can find us easily.
