Christmas magic on the Spree

Tiergarten is a large urban park in the center of Berlin. Covering more than 200 hectares, it is one of the city’s most popular green spaces and offers a mix of lush forests, open meadows, and picturesque paths. Originally designed as a hunting ground for Prussian kings, the park is now a recreational area for locals and tourists.

Friedrichstraße is a main street in central Berlin, known for its vibrant mix of shopping, culture, and history. This historically significant street was once divided by the Berlin Wall during the Cold War and is now a bustling thoroughfare lined with luxury boutiques, department stores, theaters, and restaurants. Key attractions along Friedrichstraße include the Friedrichstadt-Palast, a renowned venue for cabaret and performances, and the historic Friedrichstraße station, a major transport hub.

Berlin Cathedral is a breathtaking Baroque-style church on Museum Island in the heart of Berlin. It was completed in 1905 and is the city’s largest church and a prominent landmark. The cathedral features an impressive dome, ornate interiors, and beautiful mosaics, making it an important example of Berlin’s architectural heritage. It is also home to the tombs of the Hohenzollern family. Visitors can climb the dome to enjoy panoramic views of the city or attend services and concerts. Berlin Cathedral is a symbol of Berlin’s religious and cultural history.

Museum Island is an architectural ensemble consisting of five museums in the northern part of Spree Island in the historic center of Berlin. It is one of the German capital’s most important landmarks and one of Europe’s most significant museum complexes.
