Eier Carl is a cult pub in Hamburg located at Fischmarkt 3, with a history dating back to 1903. Founded by Carl Cohrs – known as "Eier-Carl" – the tavern was once internationally famous, attracting sailors, writers, and opera singers alike. After a wartime closure in 1943, the tradition was revived: Today, the establishment offers typical North German cuisine (fish, meat, vegetarian), live music, and the legendary egg liqueur in a cozy, maritime atmosphere. Company events for up to 120 people are possible, and there is also an online shop.
