An event from the series Sebastian Schnoy - Hummel Hummel - Home HamburgCabaret & History about the most beautiful cityIt was high time. Sebastian Schnoy, a born Hamburger, is not only a historian. He knows the 25 most common types of Hamburg rain and has written a book about the city: "Hamburg - satirical hand luggage - guaranteed without musical tips". The cabaret artist has invented the city tour with the original St. Pauli night watchman. He performed for the assembly of an Honorable Merchant in the Elbphilharmonie, together with Olaf Scholz, who no longer remembers it. He is also the first Hamburg artist to have submitted a takeover bid for the Elbtower. Schnoy has moved 15 times within Hamburg, living in almost every district between Billstedt and Othmarschen. This concentrated knowledge about the most beautiful city has now flowed into a solo program.Find out why you're not "in" but "on" St. Pauli. Why Hamburg already invented the EU in 1225. Discover with Schnoy the plot of land where houses were built and torn down most frequently. What does Heinrich Heine owe to his Hamburg merchant uncle Salomon? What did Adenauer experience with Max Brauer in the Hamburg streetcar, Brezhnev with Helmut Schmidt in Langenhorn, and how did Heidi Kabel fight for women's rights? Why does the city invest millions in the care of the Alster swans? And why are the people here so rough, but lovable?Laugh and learn with Schnoy's latest stage program."A shower of jokes poured over the audience, which visibly enjoyed the intellectual obstacle course." (Schwarzwälder Bote)

An event from the series hidden shakespeareHidden Shakespeare – Improvisational theater of the extra classSpontaneous. Quick-witted. Unrelenting. This is how we have known and loved Hidden Shakespeare for 30 years. Without scripts, sets, and costumes, Mignon Remé, Kirsten Sprick, Rolf Claussen, Thorsten Neelmeyer, and Frank Thomé spontaneously and unbelievably humorously bring the audience's ideas to life. This gives rise to small scenes, but also entire dramas, poems, or songs. 100 percent spontaneous, wild, and with live music. Every evening is guaranteed to be unique, not available in any media library. You have to be there...

An event in the Frank Goosen - Lovely Rita seriesLovely Rita The new novel by Frank Goosen. In his new novel, Frank Goosen goes into the pub. More precisely into the “Haus Himmelreich”, the old corner pub where stories and fates cross: There is the bar counter with the Captain, the Long One and Willi Trommer, guys who have been sitting here since time immemorial. There are Gisela, the artful pourer, Wacholder-Anni with God’s toolbox, Faris, the Comedian, Harry, the old social democrat, Carlo, who looks like Cat Stevens or the Countess, who has seen the whole world, but sometimes lives in an old song. Most of all there is Rita Urbaniak, Lovely Rita, the landlady who actually wanted to do something entirely different, but life intervened for her. And her sister Chris, born during the war, who has always been traveling the world, in search of what people casually call happiness. Between the gentlemen’s drink and the women’s crowd you ground yourself before the toast; it means paying up and being friendly, and turning two sixes even on the second throw into a one, that only works in Knobeln on Maundy Thursday. In “Lovely Rita” Frank Goosen tells, as usual, with humor and warmth, about an endangered biotope, the pub. And isn’t it absurd that the foam crown on a Pils is called “Blume”, while the glass is called “Tulpe”?
