Bergedorf Museum

Stálá expozice na zámku Bergedorf kromě historie zámku v napínavých tematických místnostech ukazuje vývoj Bergedorfu od vesnice k městu. Po staletí formují Labe, Bille a Saský les vývoj a každodenní život městečka Bergedorf. Spolu s okolními Vier- und Marschlanden tvoří dnes jednu ze sedmi hamburských čtvrtí a je součástí metropole na Labi. Spojuje vesnický život, přírodu a sídliště velkoměsta, je místem k bydlení, práci, domovem i cílem výletů – Jaké události formovaly život v této lokalitě a čím se Bergedorf liší od zbytku Hamburku? Historické předměty, scénické instalace, fotografie, obrazy, mediální stanice, rozhovory s pamětníky, hry a další zvou na poutavou objevovací cestu.

Until September 27, 2026, the Bergedorf Museum will feature the double exhibition "Time and Memory" by Hans-Gerhard Meyer and Hans-Hinrich Sievers.Memories of specific times are fragmentary, unreliable, and fleeting. Hans-Gerhard Meyer approaches this phenomenon in his paintings, combining multiple moments into one image in his "Moment Painting." He depicts the memory of what has happened as a patchwork.The sculptor Hans-Hinrich Sievers has long worked with the material wood. Using a chainsaw, angle grinder, and polisher, he creates sculptures from bog oak, an extremely hard oak wood preserved for hundreds of years in bogs and swamps. The long period without oxygen gives the wood a unique appearance.

On Open Monument Day, Bergedorfer Schloss opens its museum doors from 11 AM to 5 PM. At 1 PM, the Traditional Old Merry Tale Jazzband plays jazz in the castle courtyard. Jazzclub Bergedorf organizes the jazz concerts at Bergedorfer Schloss and would appreciate a donation here.At 2 PM and 3 PM, guided tours of the exhibition "stadtlandfluss-unterwegs in Bergedorf" will start.All events are free and can be attended without registration.
