The Bramfelder Kulturladen (Brakula) was founded over 40 years ago and has since been an integral part of the cultural life in Bramfeld. The cultural center is located in a 140-year-old farmhouse and is the oldest and largest neighborhood cultural center in northeast Hamburg. Brakula stands for non-commercial, community-based cultural and educational work. With its offerings, Brakula brings culture into the neighborhood, sets highlights with concerts, parties, readings, and exhibitions, and thrives on the creative impulses coming from the people of the neighborhood. Additionally, adults and children can attend creative, painting, and dance courses here or get involved as volunteers.
