We are celebrating our 8th Weidenfest and the Night of the Churches in Eimsbüttel as a joyful, lighthearted get-together on the Christuskirche campus. From 11:00 AM: Residents' flea market in Weidenstieg and Weidenallee. 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Weidenfest as part of the Night of the Churches Colorful program with face painting for children, creative stations, participatory circus, chill-out lounge in the Christuskirche, stage program with music from the [nofomo] choir. Also coffee, cake, grilled food, and more in the community center and on the meadow around the Christuskirche.

It is a global phenomenon and can occur anywhere: in every country, on the street, or at home.On this day, the Frauenwerk, together with many others, is organizing a church service. An event in the series The Christmas Story - Theater for the Whole FamilyIn this play by Johannes Galli, the biblical story of the birth of Jesus is presented with a great deal of humor in a traditional yet contemporary way: the angel's announcement that Mary will give birth to a son named Jesus, Mary and Joseph's search for lodging, finding no free space among people during the busy Christmas season, Herod's rage against the holy child, the shepherds and the Magi who come to pay homage to the child in the manger.The children watching can even play along themselves.Great fun for young and old!
