Eine Ausstellung in Kollaboration mit der HIMS Academy. Buchstaben werden zu Gliedmaßen. Schriftzüge werden zu Federn, Hörnern oder Flügeln. An der Schnittstelle von Skulptur und Kalligraphie hinterfragt der pakistanische Künstler Muzzumil Ruheel etablierte Vorstellungen von Schrift als reinem Informationsträger. Seine Werke laden dazu ein, Sprache als Körper wahrzunehmen. Aus kalligrafischen Textfragmenten entstehen organische Tiergestalten, deren Körper vollständig aus Sprache aufgebaut sind.  Sprache besitzt die Kraft, Gedanken sichtbar zu machen. Doch was geschieht mit jenen Worten, die nicht gesagt werden? Manche Sätze werden nie ausgesprochen. Reaktionen verharren im Inneren und entwickeln dort über Jahre hinweg ihre eigene Form. Diese und weitere Fragen stehen im Zentrum des künstlerischen Schaffens von Muzzumil Ruheel. Er beschäftigt sich mit dem Verborgenen. Indem diese persönlichen Gedanken in Stahl übersetzt werden, wird Flüchtiges in Dauerhaftigkeit überführt. Das widerstandsfähige Material konserviert die innere Spannung der Worte und verleiht ihnen eine physische Präsenz. Seine Wörter werden zu Tieren. „There are always things I wish I had said, the perfect comeback, the sharp taunt, the truth that reaches the mouth but is swallowed instead. In this body of work, those unsaid words have grown restless. They’ve sprouted wings, horns, claws, or sometimes just feathers. Some become gentle creatures: powerless words that never make it out. Others turn into beasts, the ones that could shake everything, but are kept behind closed lips. Together, they form The Quiet Wildness: untamed, unsaid, irrepressible.“ Muzzumil Ruheel Der Künstler Muzzumil Ruheel lebt in Karatschi, Pakistan. Er wurde 1985 in Lahore geboren und ist Absolvent der School of Visual Arts, Beacon House National University (BNU) 2009. Muzzumil war Mitglied des Lehrkörpers der Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture (Karatschi), der School of Visual Arts, Beacon House National University (Lahore) und der Abteilung für visuelle Studien an der Universität Karatschi. Muzzumil hatte zahlreiche Ausstellungen im In- und Ausland. Seine Arbeiten sind Teil wichtiger öffentlicher und privater Sammlungen.
