The children's and youth choirs of the Philippus and Rimbert Parish will perform their annual musical on September 13, 2026. It is about cohesion and the preservation of creation. The musical Elli und der Turm connects the biblical story of the Tower of Babel with current topics such as environmental pollution and the division of society. In rousing songs and lively and humorous scenes, the audience experiences how important cohesion and responsibility are for the future of our planet.  The musicians Hendrik Meyer – guitar, Stefan Weinzierl – drums and bass, Vera Schmidt – violin, and Claudia Rieke – piano accompany the children's and youth choirs.  Admission is free, the Carsten Kröger Foundation finances this musical.   DirectionClaudia RiekeOrganizerEvangelical Lutheran Parish of Philippus and Rimbert

Live music and bar on the organ galleryAt the age of 21, Kjell Kitzing was already the winner of the 2023 Jazz Promotion Award from the Cultural Forum Schleswig-Holstein. His dedication to jazz led him to win the "Jugend jazzt" competition twice. He has already performed at the Elbjazz Festival, Jazzbaltica, or the Kiel Week. He also feels at home in rock 'n' roll, punk, or blues rock. For several years, he has been writing his own songs, which are much quieter in tone. Look forward to an organ bar with plenty of good music, snacks, drinks, and as always a very good atmosphere.
