The AWO Family and Educational Counseling Center, located in the heart of Harburg, offers confidential, free counseling on topics such as: What's going on with my child? How can I support them? How do we handle separation with a child? How can we parents get back to being a couple? If needed, we will arrange for an interpreter. Our highlight for Family Day: We invite you and your children to a colorful hands-on program! While the children get creative and create artworks on the theme "What makes me happy," adults can quietly discover the great strengths they already possess as parents. Come by – we look forward to seeing you!

The offer will take place in cooperation with the Elbkinder Kita Eddelbüttelstraße.The children will design their own beaded bracelets according to their individual ideas. They will choose different colors and shapes and string the beads themselves.The offer promotes the children's fine motor skills, concentration, and creativity. At the same time, social skills are strengthened as the children can help each other and exchange ideas.

Our daycare/family center, together with the Phoenix Quarter neighborhood work and Tollerort, is celebrating a colorful summer festival for Family Day with the neighborhood. Many social institutions are participating and showcasing their services. There will be a great program with children's singing and a magician. In addition, the daycare and family center invite you to many hands-on activities for children and parents. Food and drinks will also be provided. We look forward to a wonderful day with lots of fun and good conversations!
