Following the cancellation due to heat in June, a new date has now been set: On Saturday, September 5th, from 12 PM to 3 PM as part of the event format '?Die grüne ella?' the ella Kulturhaus invites you to a clothing swap party. A clothing swap party brings a breath of fresh air to your wardrobe. Do you fancy new favorite pieces - without any shopping stress? Instead of buying new, well-preserved clothing items can simply be swapped.This not only saves your wallet but also the environment. Because every piece of clothing that is worn again saves valuable resources and avoids unnecessary waste. And here's how it works:You can bring up to 10 clean and well-preserved clothing items, as well as shoes and accessories (e.g., bags, scarves, hats, or jewelry). Please do not bring: children's clothing, swimwear, underwear, or socks! We will then sort the items and you will receive a voucher for the number of items you brought. Then you can browse to your heart's content, try things on, and take home as many nice items as you brought.We look forward to your visit! 

An evening full of pace, wit, and delightful confusion: The Norderstedt Amateur Theater invites you to the preview of the comedy "Charley's Aunt" on Tuesday, September 8th at 7:30 PM at the ella Kulturhaus.At the center are two students who are eagerly awaiting a long-awaited rendezvous with their sweethearts. But a crucial part of their plan – the supposedly wealthy aunt from Brazil – is late. To save the meeting nonetheless, friend Kuddel has to quickly slip into women's clothes and take on the role of the aunt.What begins as a harmless emergency solution quickly develops into a turbulent game of confusion: the real aunt suddenly appears, and two older gentlemen show unexpected interest in the supposed lady. Poetry Slam without frills: On Thursday, September 24, 2026, the ella Kulturhaus Langenhorn invites you to the "Poetry Slam Langenhorn" at 8 PM. The evening is hosted by the team "Vorstadt Slam", which consciously focuses on the essentials: strong texts, direct performances, and a personal atmosphere. > "Vorstadt Slam" harks back to the beginnings of the slam scene, when small stages and close proximity between audience and artists were what made it appealing. This special atmosphere – characterized by exchange, community, and an almost familial bond, the so-called "Slamily" – should be experienced again today. > Here, fresh courage meets stage experience: Newcomers take their first steps in front of an audience, while experienced slam poets showcase their skills. Whether sensitive poetry, personal stories, or sharp comedy – the diversity of texts and voices makes the evening. From 6 PM to 9 PM, the hall of the ella Kulturhaus will transform into a place for music, movement, and meeting.Under the motto "Music we love. People we know. Time that feels good," guests can expect a relaxed yet lively afternoon with DJ Emilian Wörn. The best hits from the past to the present will be played – for dancing, singing along, grooving, and feeling good. The event is aimed at people aged 60 and over who are looking for a sociable evening in a familiar atmosphere.The Over-60 Disco is an open invitation for everyone who enjoys dancing or simply wants to spend a pleasant evening in good company. Whether alone or with a companion: All guests are warmly welcome. The focus is on the joy of music, good vibes, and shared experiences.Admission costs €5 in advance, €7 at the door.The Over-60 Disco is organized by the ella Kulturhaus and the Langenhorn Senior Meeting Point.

No problem, at least not for our competent volunteers, who are happy to assist with repairs in the areas of textiles, electronics, and mechanics, offering both advice and practical help.This way, not only are unnecessary costs for new purchases avoided, but also waste – come to ella and make a statement against the throwaway society and for more sustainability. Common tools and expert staff are available on site. Please bring necessary spare parts yourself. No guarantee of repair.At the same time, the ella Café is open with delicious coffee specialties and homemade cake.
