    A celebration for little explorers and big curious minds: On August 30th, we're celebrating the opening of the new exhibition "Waste in Transition" on the Energieberg Georgswerder.Here, you can discover interactively and playfully how waste management in Hamburg has changed – from the former Georgswerder landfill to waste separation, waste prevention, and the circular economy.Look forward to a varied afternoon for the whole family with exclusive insights into the new exhibition, a film screening with a Q&A session, and the photo exhibition "Eyewitnesses: Georgswerder Landfill".There's also plenty to discover through participation: a barrel toss game, wheel of fortune, bottle cap obstacle course, and an upcycling craft activity playfully bring the topics of waste, recycling, and cycles closer – including small prizes.A relaxed summer atmosphere will be provided by fresh pizza from Fetta Pizza and coffee specialties from Coffee-Bike. Plus, there's plenty of time for discovering, connecting, and enjoying – with a view over Hamburg.Come by and discover together how a mountain of waste becomes a place of the future.Admission is free.
