Since 2010, the cultural institutes united as EUNIC Hamburg – Instituto Cervantes, Istituto Italiano di Cultura, Goethe-Institut and Institut français Hamburg – have presented the International Graphic Novel Salon, in 2026 once again in cooperation with europe direct Info-Point Europa.Time and again, the event succeeds in showcasing the diversity of the graphic novel as an art form, highlighting current trends in artistic design and subject matter, and presenting talent from various countries.This year’s participants:Hélène Aldeguer | France | Graphic novel: Emma GoldmanWiebke Bolduan | Germany | Graphic novel: Planet ElmarRoberto Grossi | Italy | Graphic novel: Die große VerdrängungAlberto Madrigal | Spain | Graphic novel: Berlin 2.0The event will be held in German, Spanish, Italian and French, with interpretation into German. Admission is free; registration is recommended.After the event, there will be an opportunity to talk with the authors over drinks and snacks and have books signed.Strips & Stories bookstore will be present with a stand where you can purchase the books in German.
