With expressive photos on a large screen, captivating narratives, and atmospheric music, Dr. Jutta Ulmer and Dr. Michael Wolfsteiner transport viewers to fascinating East Africa!

In Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, the two photojournalists gained unique insights into the lives of Fair Trade producers, computer enthusiasts, and conservation refugees. They helped with the pineapple, tea, and vanilla harvest, and learned how cool decorative items are made from tourist waste and how archaic-looking fleece is produced from tree bark.

In the lush green Bwindi National Park, the two sat face-to-face with shaggy mountain gorillas and observed lions, giraffes, leopards, and tens of thousands of wildebeest crossing the Mara River in the Maasai-Mara-Serengeti ecosystem. They climbed Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain at 5895 meters, and began freediving on the dream island of Zanzibar to experience the abundance of fish in sun-drenched coral reefs up close.
