Sabine RuschMs. Sabine Rusch will guide you through Hamburg's Yu Garden, which, along with the Chinese teahouse, is a visible monument to the city partnership between Hamburg and Shanghai. During our guided tour with an accompanying expert lecture, we will explore mythology, religion, philosophy, and the Chinese plant world as well as their symbolism, finding many interesting inspirations – also for your own garden.Since ancient times, gardens have been a significant source of well-being for the Chinese. Chinese landscape painters captured traditional garden culture in their works. The arrangement and design of water, stones, paths, buildings, and plants always followed the cosmological rules of Feng Shui.The event will be held in German. The number of participants is limited.As this is an expert lecture, the event is aimed at adults.
