The "HANSE GUITAR CUP" is an international performance competition for young guitarists. The preliminary round concerts will take place from 19.10.2026 to 24.10.2026 in a "duel" format at six different Haspa branches. Admission is free. Those who register via the portal https://www.haspa-veranstaltungen.de/veranstaltung/2025319/hanse-guitar-cup-2026-in-blankenese can book a guaranteed seat. However, it is also possible to attend the concerts spontaneously, provided that seats are still available. In the preliminary round, participants must demonstrate their qualities on the "small stage" and convince the audience with their stage presence. Two participants will "compete" against each other each evening, presenting a 30-minute program of their choice. At the end, the audience will decide by vote who will advance to the final. At the final, which will take place at the Hamburger Gitarrenfestival, you will then show that you can also fill the "big stage."
