Regina HalmichRegina Halmich is Germany's first female world boxing champion and one of the most successful female boxers worldwide. But how did she get there? In »The Lady of the Rings«, she speaks for the first time about her extraordinary journey through life. From humble beginnings in a loving family home to the pinnacle of boxing, she describes her challenges, triumphs and setbacks. With wit and great openness, Regina Halmich talks to Hamburger Abendblatt chief reporter Christoph Rybarczyk about her beginnings in martial arts and the formative experiences she had to overcome. More honestly and openly than ever, the athlete also speaks about love, friendship and disappointments outside the boxing ring. This story is not only an inspiring portrait of a pioneer, but also an encouragement to everyone who fights for their goals and refuses to be defeated by adversity.A cooperation with Hamburger Abendblatt at the HB-Boxing Studio in Eimsbüttel.
