Heiligengeistfeld v užším smyslu označuje více než 20 hektarů velký areál pro pořádání akcí, kde se koná především hamburský veletrh Dom. V širším smyslu se k němu počítají i severozápadně přiléhající oblasti až k Novému trhu s koňmi; celková rozloha činí přibližně 50 hektarů.

    The DOM is a piece of Hamburg tradition and is a guarantee for play, fun, excitement, and nostalgia. The term dates back to a gathering of merchants, craftsmen, and jugglers who – after some disagreements, received the right in 1337 to stay in the Marien-Dom during "Schietwetter." At the end of the 19th century, the showmen then found their "new home" in Heiligengeistfeld.Family Day: Every Wednesday reduced prices for all visitors  Fireworks: on the opening day and additionally every 2nd Friday during the DOM period
