Embark on a journey with us in the footsteps of the most famous privateer of the North: stories spanning 600 years of Hamburg's history, from Störtebeker's birth to his execution. From the Old Town to HafenCity. Thematically, from conflagrations to flood protection measures; from barges to the Elbphilharmonie – Klaus Störtebeker's life will be our common thread.Our path leads past some of the city's oldest buildings and to a long-forgotten burial site. We will tell of what is perhaps the city's most prominent public declaration of love, of piracy and betrayal – and we will search for and find Störtebeker's treasure!- Where do seven sisters stand in the mud twice a day?- What does the Semperoper have in common with St. Nikolai?- What did Störtebeker offer for his release?- Where does "everyman" appear, even though no one can live there?You will find out. This and much more.We will walk through Hamburg's Old Town into the historic Speicherstadt – to the execution site.Note:Arrival by public transport recommended (not a circular route).One ticket is required per participant (regardless of age).
