Hospice at Israelitisches Krankenhaus

Hospice at Israelitisches Krankenhaus warmly invites children and adults to make lanterns together over cocoa, coffee and waffles. Songs will be practiced for a lantern walk starting at 6:00 PM. Materials will be provided. Anyone who likes may bring something along. Contribution: €5; the hospice welcomes donations. Registration makes planning easier: veranstaltungen@hospiz-am-ik.de.

Around 20 stalls on two floors offer beautiful and delicious goods: cookies, liqueurs, honey, jams, dog treats, stationery and candles, handmade and painted items, Hamburg photographs, as well as beautiful scarves from the hospice knitting café Tee & Fäden.Mulled wine and punch, waffles and cocoa, coffee and cake create a festive Advent atmosphere. Young visitors can make gifts. Actor Camill Jammal (Thalia Theater) will read Christmas stories aloud. All guests, young and old, will sing Christmas carols together.About 500 prizes have been donated for the grand raffle, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting hospice work. Prizes include complimentary tickets for Hamburg theatres, concert halls and cinemas, admission tickets to Miniatur Wunderland, vouchers for cafés and restaurants, and many lovely material prizes—and every ticket wins.The hospice team welcomes everyone to spend a wonderful time together and enjoy Advent with all their senses.
