    Concerts
    Jazz, Blues, Swing & Chanson
Concert by the duo Luca Zennaro (electric guitar) & Michelangelo Scandroglio (double bass). With the duo Luca Zennaro – Michelangelo Scandoglio, two of the most promising voices in European jazz have joined forces. The two musicians present a sound that blends jazz, folk, and contemporary music. The project, so to speak, originated between the terraces of Venice and the streets of Florence and is characterized by its lack of a rhythm section. This allows the two musicians to explore new sonic effects and colors. In doing so, they enter into an intense dialogue and highlight their strong shared artistic identity. The repertoire includes original pieces composed specifically for this ensemble, as well as reinterpretations of famous works of Italian music. The program ranges from Puccini to traditional songs from the Maremma region, to the iconic soundtracks of Ennio Morricone. "Cinema Italia" thus becomes a place of encounter between past and future, offering the audience a musical journey between nostalgia and innovation.

  • More than ChatGPT: The true strength of Artificial Intelligence
More than ChatGPT: The true strength of Artificial Intelligence
    Wed 30.09. 17:00 - 19:00
    Lectures & Discussions
Talk with Kim A. Nicoli, Gabriele Capasso, and Davide Piacentini (Italian with simultaneous translation into German). An algorithm answers a question. Another writes a novel. A third plans, decides, and acts in the real world. But what's really behind these machines that seem to think? Artificial intelligence is not magic. It's a complex game of data, mathematical models, and computing power. A game that is changing the way we work, drive innovation, and make decisions. In this conversation, Kim A. Nicoli, Gabriele Capasso, and Davide Piacentini explore how machines learn and why some AI systems "think" better than others. We illuminate the promises of AI – creativity, automation, scientific discoveries – as well as its limitations: errors, hallucinations, and risks. A look into the future shows AI not just as a tool, but as a partner for innovation and the world of work. Furthermore, we examine its role in start-ups and along the food chain – from production to new data-driven business models. A journey into the "mind" of machines, to understand them before they dictate the game. The event is organized in collaboration with IPN-Italian Professional Network
