Hamburg is one of the most important cities in the world for the coffee trade. In the heart of the World Heritage Site, in the warehouse from 1896, you will experience a journey in a unique collection from cultivation via the trading office to the shop from grandmother's times. In the only vaulted cellar of the Speicherstadt, in the Kaffeemuseum, you will learn everything about the prima donna of crops. Historical tools and machines, roasters and grinders, tableware, advertising, and curiosities show that Hamburg is the coffee capital. On the ground floor, we still roast our coffee rarities very traditionally in a roaster from the 1930s. In our café, we present café cocktails for the night. On the ground floor:Traditional coffee roastingShow roasting with the Van Gü lpen drum roaster from the 1930sCafé cocktails in the museum café on the ground floorCafé and shop are openAdmission is free In the vaulted cellar:KAFFEEMUSEUM with COFFEE TASTINGKaffeemuseum with audio guide and your own smartphoneUse our guest Wi-Fi and your headphones 14 languages: (Danish, German, English, French, High Arabic, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, Mandarin, Dutch, Norwegian,Portuguese, Russian and Turkish)Taste special coffees from different countries.Price: €8.00 / person
