He died under mysterious circumstances in the final days of World War II. Who shot him? What do the stories passed down from generation to generation conceal? Eighty years after her grandfather's death, Susanne Beyer tries to uncover the truth. And how do I deal with it if it turns out my grandfather was a member of the NSDAP?The reading is another evening in favor of the social and cultural project "Preserve the Ledigenheim!" in Hamburg's Neustadt. The series has existed since the summer of 2014 and now looks back on 120 evenings. In August 2020 – early in the months of the Corona pandemic – the congregation of Kleiner Michel opened its church for neighborhood assistance for the benefit series.Susanne Beyer waives her fee.
