Kitarino – Harvestehude

Children know exactly what they need. That's why we listen to them at Kitarino – and take their ideas seriously. In our Kitarino feel-good rooms, children actively participate in their daily lives, make decisions, and experience what it means to be heard. This creates places where they can develop their personalities, grow in confidence, and feel a sense of belonging. On Family Day, we make participation tangible at Kitarino: with creative hands-on stations, a joint project, and open discussions about how children experience co-determination with us and how we support them individually. Self-confidence, relationships, and democracy begin where children know: My voice counts.
