Flavius Wagner was born and raised in Baden-Baden and began learning the guitar in early childhood. He achieved early success in competitions such as Jugend Musiziert, where he was awarded several first-place federal prizes.At the age of 14, he became a junior student at the HMDK Stuttgart in the class of Prof. Johannes Monno, where he has been pursuing his Bachelor of Music since 2022.Wagner is a prizewinner and winner of renowned guitar competitions in Bosnia, Chicago, Florida, and New York.Concert tours have taken him as far as Venice and Canada.Flavius Wagner serves as a lecturer for courses on behalf of the Landesmusikrat and at the JZO-BaWü. In addition to his solo work, he also performs in a variety of chamber music ensembles.The ‘Neue Szene’ format is a collaboration between Kapelle 6 and the ‘Gitarre Hamburg’ initiative as part of the Hamburger Gitarrentage.Starting in 2025, Kapelle 6 will host the ‘Neue Szene’, featuring two concerts annually by professional young guitarists.Inspired by the Ohlsdorf 2050 project, a group of local residents from surrounding districts with diverse interests connected through various channels and formed the Kapelle 6 working group.This led to a cooperation with the Ohlsdorf Cemetery and its park management for the new use of the chapel as a cultural workshop under the motto "Giving more life to the days!".
