His rapid slide guitar playing, his earthy solos, and his authentic vocals reflect his roots in Mississippi blues. Together with his exceptional ingenuity and virtuosity, these are qualities that make Martin Friedenstab a top choice among local blues guitarists.The musician from Sylt, André Closius, plays blues, boogie, and ragtime from the 1900s-1950s. His guitar playing is in the fingerpicking style of old blues legends, complemented by his authentic harmonica sound. The two harmonize perfectly in their playing and vocals.Gunther Andernach - the legendary washboard player from Hamburg. With his washboard, he shows that this percussion instrument is more than just a substitute for a drum kit. Andernach is a central figure in Hamburg's music scene, played with the „Jazz Lips“ in the 70s, and is considered one of the best washboard players worldwide.This summer day with blues, boogie, and ragtime at Heidbarghof promises a great atmosphere again!
