Always on the third Monday of every month (deviations may occur), Rika Tjakea invites people with dementia to sing old folk songs and Schlager. She grabs her ukulele for accompaniment and off we go. Lyrics sheets are available; duration 30 - 60 minutes depending on the mood and concentration of the group. Residents of a day care facility and a neighborhood residential care community regularly participate. There is room for a few more participants. Please note that we cannot provide care for people with dementia for this offering, so for example a family member must be present. Participation is free, but registration is required: 040 / 780 50 400, info@kunstklinik.hamburg This series of events is a collaboration between KUNSTKLINIK, the Hamburgische Brücke and martini.erleben, and belongs to the project Leben mit Demenz in Hamburg Eppendorf.
