Galleria nel Levantehaus

From August 17 to 29, 2026, Dorit Martens, Sandra Maertens, and Susanne Osterhus will present a joint exhibition titled "Magic, colourful, expressive" at the Galerie im Levantehaus. Three artists, three distinct styles – united by their joy of experimentation, openness to new forms of expression, and passion for creative work.The exhibition unites photography, painting, and ceramics in a multifaceted dialogue. Dorit Martens shows Hamburg cityscapes as well as digital works that play with movement, light, and color. Sandra Maertens combines painting, photography, and structure into vibrant compositions where music, emotion, and color merge. Susanne Osterhus complements the exhibition with expressive ceramics and sculptural works, whose human and fairytale-like figures are characterized by fantasy and personal symbolism.This creates an exhibition that brings together different materials and artistic positions, inviting visitors to discover color, form, and expression in all their diversity.
