LIFE HAMBURG Pop-Up

On Hamburg Family Day on August 29, 2026, shortly after the summer break, LIFE HAMBURG invites all Hamburg families to a joyful family morning on the new LIFE HAMBURG Campus. The play 'The Explorer and the Parrot' and many hands-on activities for young and old await you. 'Ta-da!!', the family morning will take place from 11:00 AM to approx. 1:30 PM. Look forward to shared time, new discoveries, and many small moments full of joy, movement, and creativity.

Playing theater means expressing yourself creatively with imagination, body, and language. This weekend workshop focuses on theatrical play. Based on the method of guided improvisation, inner images are translated into movement and language. Through bodywork, voice, and interaction, a space for scenic interpretation is created, where authentic play scenes and different forms of performance are explored. The work is based on professional approaches from acting and performance. It offers an introduction to the connection between body, language, and performance, and lays the foundation for further theatrical practice. The course is open to people with and without prior experience.

Interactive, multimedia and always with a wink, magicians Ben David and hypnotist Christo lead through their extraordinary event. Every evening they add a new chapter.
