Low German Stories and Music Low German is beautiful, Low German has long been more than just for old people… these two young women have discovered their passion for this wonderful language and prove with texts and music how fresh, witty, and beautiful speaking Low German can be.MARIE SOPHIE KOOP is an author, works as a reporter for the podcast “Wi snackt Platt“, and also performs on poetry slam stages. Her stories are sometimes humorous, sometimes serious, and often thought-provoking. This evening, she will read her short stories, present a selection of “Hör mal ’n beten to“ contributions, and perform a selection of poetry slams.LENA FINCK-STOLTENBERG is a young poet and songwriter from Northern Germany. In her songs and poems, she finds words and sounds for the often indescribable. Honestly and gently, she takes the listener by the hand to accompany them on a journey to themselves and the wonders of life.

Blanket Flea Market, Picture Book Theater & Interactive MusicCome on in. LOLA opens its doors for the whole family!It all starts at 2:30 PM in the main hall with a blanket flea market by and for children. Everything that fits on a blanket can be offered there, both for sale and for exchange. RawBird and the Sleng Tang Riddim SectionSummer, sun, sunshine, and a Caribbean vibe with reggae music. Holiday dreams come true in the LOLA beer garden. Rich, ultra-tightly played riddims with distinctive vocals are the trademark of the SLENG TANG GANG. A seven-piece reggae band based in Hamburg, which emerged from musicians of the SAM RAGGA BAND (see: Jan Delay "Searching for the Jan Soul Rebels") and carries its resounding message of love into the world with I-FIRE singer RAWBIRD.The concert will take place open-air in the beer garden as part of the Sommersalon 2026.
