St. Martin's Church Horn

St. Martin's Church is the only church in Hamburg's east that survived the war without significant damage.Program for Open Monument Day: We begin with an introductory slide show. This is followed by a guided tour through the nave. We will also show the organ loft and take a look at the wooden ceiling vault. As a special highlight, one of the five bells will be rung while visitors stand directly under the bell tower!

Slide lecture on the 76 monuments of Horn.Until 2012, there were three preserved monuments in Horn: St. Martin's Church and the two schools Rhiemsweg and Beim Pachthof. On March 27, 2013, the citizens' assembly then decided to amend the monument protection law. This gave Horn 70 new monuments overnight, and three more were added in 2019! This year, we are showing the slide lecture in the "St. Martin's Church Monument".
