About the Host:
Sofia May is an award-winning American stand-up comic based in Berlin. Born and raised in New York City on a strict diet of Ren and Stimpy and bad boundaries, her comedic style is dark and whimsical. People often say, “She’s so innocent! Just like O.J. Simpson!” She is also the whistleblower for her former Buddhist Cult. Her message to her former cult leader is: "don't mess with the funniest person in your cult".
She has been featured on the BBC, British Comedy Guide, Chortle, The Jewish News, The Guardian, A Little Bit Culty, Guru Mag, Cults to Consciousness, and Taz magazine. Sofia performs all over Europe, in London, NYC, SF, and every year at the Edinburgh Fringe since 2021. She can be found performing on a nightly basis in Berlin.

Reviews:
"She gives off the vibe that she’d give you a hug if you needed it, and while delivering said hug, stick a sign on your back that says a whole bunch of slurs." —European Comedy Review
