Homes, houses, and incubators bring artists and thinkers together to collectively question everyday notions of safe spaces. From what material is protection woven, and how do public space architectures speak to us residents? Spread across two exhibitions at MOM Art Space and hinterconti, as well as at selected locations in the city, sculptures, installations, films, paintings, and participatory performances address vulnerability and resilience in our living spaces.Starting from stories that are materially and architecturally anchored, the artworks open up zones of encounter and perspective change. Whether through the use of found objects, working with abandoned places and architectures, or observing everyday scenarios from one's own window – these are fragile frameworks that encounter well-known forms and formations.A series of talks, art actions & workshops accompany the exhibition program.We cordially invite you to experience and activate the art projects together with us.
