For 30 years, the MOTTE choir has been rehearsing at MOTTE. For MOTTE's anniversary, it's time for another stopover to sort through their musical baggage. A lot has accumulated: classics by Reinhard Mey, Friedrich Holländer, and Katja Ebstein, as well as songs by Ulla Meinecke, Stefan Gwildis, or AnnenMayKantereit. All in their own arrangements and with sophisticated choreographies. The choir enjoys it, and the audience is delighted. So, after all this time, is there any reason to stop? Not at all! Choir direction and arrangements: Natalie Kopp and Axel Pätz

An event in the series Das Werner unser...| Werner Momsen alias Detlef WutschikHe who believes will be saved. Hallelujah brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, whether you believe it or not, "Pastor" Werner invites you to the cathedral of entertainment this time to talk about faith. There are so many things people believe in, God, love, angels, UFOs, Yetis, or even the Tooth Fairy. Many of these are harmless, others not. Why do people believe some things and not others, and what's better? Everyone talks about God, but everyone means a different one.The evidence for and against him is very poor.Basically, no different than for Santa Claus and the Brocken witch. Can one afford not to believe in him? Is there anything after the last hour? Are virgins waiting for someone, the Holy Spirit, or the resurrection? What remains when it's over? There are many questions between life and death, faith and truth, heaven and earth, that can be discussed. And that's what Werner Momsen wants to do this time, about God and the world. Hallelujah!

Michael Krebs has been captivating audiences for over 20 years with songs full of groovy musicality and clever lyrics. Witnessing how openly, directly, and wittily the songwriter approaches his concerts brings a huge grin to your face and makes it clear: the live stage is his element. But even this notoriously cheerful guy at the piano has his doubts these days. Is his once-praised authenticity still acceptable in an era of survival of the fakest? Why does everyone think of "problem areas" as stomach, legs, and butt, and no one thinks of the brain? Where can one emigrate when the right-wingers are already everywhere? And above all: is the future even still a solution? Fortunately, thanks to attention spans shredded by TikTok, no one expects answers to such complex questions anymore. Perhaps Michael Krebs will provide one anyway. As long as we can laugh at ourselves together, pessimism is not an option. You don't have to be the brightest light on the dark web to figure that out. "I no longer believe in humanity, but I still believe in humaneness," says Michael Krebs. And so, his concerts are not ones that make you forget the world outside for two hours. Much better: they let you see the world with different eyes. And that feels good. So good, in fact, that you have to exaggerate to avoid lying.
