DASA Arbeitswelt -messukeskuksen Dortmundissa kehittämä näyttely Respekt. Eine Ausstellung übers gemeinsam Verschiedensein (Kunnioitus. Näyttely yhteisestä erilaisuudesta) kutsuu erityisesti nuoria lähestymään keskeisiä identiteettiä, syrjintää ja tasa-arvoa koskevia kysymyksiä. Keskiössä on keskustelu kunnioittavasta toisten kohtaamisesta koulussa, ammatillisessa koulutuksessa ja työelämään siirryttäessä.Keskiössä ovat kysymykset siitä, kuka on, mikä tekee hänestä ainutlaatuisen, mihin hän kuuluu ja mihin hänet pakotetaan. Näyttely hyödyntää useita erilaisia välitysmuotoja: lyhyet tekstit, videoleikkeet ja grafiikat yhdistetään leikkisään tarjontaan, itsetutkiskelumoduuleihin ja keskustelupaikkoihin.Respekt tarjoaa siten erityisesti koululuokille ja nuorisoryhmille jännittävän mahdollisuuden saada yhdessä luokkahuoneen ulkopuolella värikkäässä ja virikkeellisessä ilmapiirissä uusia keskustelunaiheita ja syventyä ennakkoluulojen ja syrjivän käyttäytymisen syntyyn. Samalla käsitellään myös kielen roolia toisten kohtaamisessa. Työpaikkaspeeddatingissä nuoret saavat selville, kuinka monet ennakkoluulot lataavat usein käsityksiä ammatinvalinnasta, ja aikajanalla he voivat matkustaa menneisyyteen ja sijoittaa tasa-arvon historian virstanpylväitä vuosiin ja tapahtumiin.

As part of a guided tour through the exhibition, participants will gain insight into the work of Franki Raffles. Selected photographs will be viewed together and explored through dialogue. The focus will be on the realities of life and work of women, which become visible in the pictures and encourage reflection. Participants are invited to ask questions and share their own impressions. The tour lasts approximately one hour and is suitable for ages 14 and up. Cost: Museum admission + €2.00 tour fee

In the printing workshop, employees of the museum or former typesetters and printers reveal the secrets of the "Black Art." From 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. No registration required.

Freehand engraving an English script in steel – and that also mirrored – is a skill that is hardly affordable. A business card made using steel engraving printing should actually only be received on a silver platter. The trained expert shows how elaborate the printing from the steel engraving plate is and how the connoisseur recognizes the authenticity of such a fine print. No registration required.

How do you envision the future of work? Hand in hand with a robot? Green or yellow? Will we fly to the dentist on the moon? Or will we perhaps all work for animals? One thing is for sure, new professions will emerge that you cannot even imagine today. Create your own little story about the future in stop-motion.
