La Neustadt a pourtant beaucoup à offrir : le Gänsemarkt avec l'administration financière de Schumacher, le projet « Gängeviertel », le monument Brahms, la rue historique Bäckerbreitergang, la Musikhalle, le monumental Brahmskontor, les restes d'un temple juif, la Poolstraße avec ses nombreuses petites boutiques, le animé Großneumarkt, la fontaine Hummel ainsi que l'église la plus connue de la ville : St. Michaelis.
