25 years ago, the Grindel high-rise buildings and their associated green spaces were placed under monument protection as a complete ensemble. The walk will cover the special history of this residential high-rise complex, the architecture of the individual building blocks, and the skillful design of the grounds, where the bright yellow clinker facades shine between the meadows and trees of the parkland.Furthermore, we will intensively discuss life and living in this green, centrally located, and at the same time car-free residential high-rise complex and discuss its possible significance and exemplary nature for the development of today's inner-city new construction areas.Leader: Helga Magdalena ThienelRegistration is not required.
