What can one see, smell, and taste in wine, how can one describe their own sensory impressions, and how can wine then be evaluated based on this. How to more confidently reach the wines that one likes the most.Furthermore, the topics of wine temperature, glasses, decanting, resealing, and storing wine will be covered. The answer is not easy with a variety of about 1000 cheese types and multiples of that in wine varieties. Experience classic and surprising combinations. Discover new cheeses and wines and experience how pleasurable the right combination can be. The "Grande Nation" offers cheese and wine in countless varieties. Allow yourself to be whisked away and taste eight different cheeses made from cow, sheep, and goat milk, exclusively French and mostly raw milk cheese, at this seminar. For each cheese, we will taste two wines together and describe and evaluate the combination and the impact of cheese and wine on each other’s flavors. The wines (white and red) come from European wine-growing regions. We will also compare cheese made from pasteurized and raw milk and joyfully work out the rules for pairing cheese and wine. The extensive and exciting tasting will be complemented by interesting facts about cheese and wine.
