Description

The Sasel-Haus is one of the largest cultural centers in Hamburg, located in the beautiful Alstertal, in the northeast of the city. The concert and music series at the Sasel-Haus stands for excellence, the promotion of young talent, and the search for new forms of chamber music. The classical series of Sunday concerts is known far beyond Hamburg and attracts world-class musicians such as Sabine Meyer and Martin Stadtfeld. Collaborations on an equal footing with the Elbphilharmonie, various music academies, and the State Youth Music School have been running successfully for years. These are supplemented with high quality through the Sasel-Haus's own impulses with projects such as "Klassik ist Klasse", "Mini-Klassik" or "Musik von Anfang an". A colorful spectrum of exciting events provides shared fun and entertainment in the "ImPuls" series. Nationally known comedy artists such as Hella von Sinnen, Ingo Oschmann, and others train your diaphragm or actors such as Hannelore Hoger, Christian Quadflieg, Victoria Trauttmansdorff, and others bring cultural enjoyment to Sasel. The Sasel-Haus creates social relevance with factual food. Guests include personalities from politics and society such as former President Joachim Gauck, climate researcher Prof. Dr. Mojib Latif, meteorologist Frank Böttcher, human rights activist Rüdiger Nehberg, and others.
